Market Fresh Thank You Card

This was a lot of fun to make.  Modeling after my single layer swap card,  this card follows the same theme.  Very simple,  but a ton to put together!

Simplicity

This card is for a swap at the upcoming SU Convention in Salt Lake City Utah. The swap tells us to create a single layer card, with a little embellishment. Here is my take! Using the Market Fresh stamp set I watercolored the I age using my aqua pen. I used Marina Mist for the banner and Wild Wasabi for the lettuce. Enjoy!

Wedding Bliss

I needed to create a simple but fun wedding card for an upcoming wedding I am going to. I loved using the Circle of Spring stamp set as well as the Wonderous Wreath Framelits to make this card really pop!

RAWR!

Here they are in all their glory! Dinosaurs are back with this new adorable "No Bones About It" stamp set. I created this card for a swap I will be bringing to the 2015 Stampin Up! Convention later on in the month. I absolutely loved making this card! The basic design for the card is from  Sue Wdowik, an Independent Stampin Up! demonstrator from Australia. You can check out her blog, Nigh Nigh Birdie for more inspiration! Happy Stamping!!

Goodies!

I was so excited when I got home because I knew a beautiful package full of goodies from the new catalog was waiting for me!

Life Update!

I finally hunkered down and did a little stamping on Friday, the first time in weeks! As some of you may know, I was laid off  right about the same time that I joined Stampin Up! Stamping and card making became something that I really loved to do and it was a way for me to relax and spend some time taking care of myself. As a social worker, I spent majority of my time helping others with difficult times in their life and as a result I found that I had little to no time to regroup myself and take care of my life. Crafting has been such an amazing outlet for me, and I think that it truly helped me through the last few months. I am happy and excited to say that I am employed, and I am loving the new job. With the added scheduling of self care I think that I can really keep my body, mind and spirit in check! Now that I am back in the swing of things, and earning a pay check, I will be able to bring you all more card ideas as well as many other types of crafting. Thanks for sticking with me!
