SUO Challenge #161

Hi all!
I'm back and ready to create! I made this card for a co-worker who is heading off to do bigger and brighter things! She will be dearly missed and I wanted something that would capture just how amazing she is. I needed to figure out a card that was a thank you card and a congratulations card, and viola! the new Occasions Catalog popped into mind. I just love both the Lift Me Up and Dragonfly Dreams bundles. I hope you enjoy!!

OnStage 2015 in Vancouver!!

Yesterday was such an amazing day, the very first OnStage event from Stampin Up! I attended the local event in Vancouver WA, but they streamed in the live feed in Brussels!! I always love attending these events, they give you so much inspiration and motivation to continue your business.

Halloween part two!

So I thought this posted a while ago, but it never got published. That what you get when you don't have time to look at your blog for around a month. So here are a few other Halloween cars I used making the older Halloween DSP from Stampin Up! Enjoy!!

Thank You's!

I finally got around to making the thank you cards for the friends and family that I stayed with during my trip to Convention. I kinda CASED these cards, but I used my ideas for some parts. Enjoy!

Simplicity

This card is for a swap at the upcoming SU Convention in Salt Lake City Utah. The swap tells us to create a single layer card, with a little embellishment. Here is my take! Using the Market Fresh stamp set I watercolored the I age using my aqua pen. I used Marina Mist for the banner and Wild Wasabi for the lettuce. Enjoy!

Wedding Bliss

I needed to create a simple but fun wedding card for an upcoming wedding I am going to. I loved using the Circle of Spring stamp set as well as the Wonderous Wreath Framelits to make this card really pop!

RAWR!

Here they are in all their glory! Dinosaurs are back with this new adorable "No Bones About It" stamp set. I created this card for a swap I will be bringing to the 2015 Stampin Up! Convention later on in the month. I absolutely loved making this card! The basic design for the card is from  Sue Wdowik, an Independent Stampin Up! demonstrator from Australia. You can check out her blog, Nigh Nigh Birdie for more inspiration! Happy Stamping!!

Goodies!

I was so excited when I got home because I knew a beautiful package full of goodies from the new catalog was waiting for me!

Spring Christmas!

Too early for a Christmas Card??? I think not! I finally had time to mess around with the "Wonderous Wreath" stamp set.

Sometimes, it's just not good

So, I hesitated showing this picture because it is one of the many cards that I think of, create and become completely disappointed  on how it turns out. At first I wanted to just throw out all the components and start fresh, then I giggled to myself. If you can't show your mistakes, how can new card makers and crafters feel empowered to try again after they made something they didn't like. So here it is, my fail of the day :)

Card Challenge for CAS(E) this Sketch #120

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my entry for the Card Challenge over on the CAS(E) this Sketch blog. I really loved doing this challenge! It gave me a chance to use some stamp sets that I had not used in a while. Head on over to the CAS(E) this Sketch blog to look at all the entries!

For this card, I used the Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight stamp pads from Stampin Up! I also used the "Work of Art" stamp set from Stampin Up! to create the sentiment and the yellow watercolor images. For the tie-dye peace sign I used the Inkadinka Cling stamp set named "Tie Dye Cling". I also used the Bo Bunny "Stained Textures" cling stamp set.

I love to get up early and start creating, especially if I go to sleep thinking about cards I want to make. I have to get some ideas floating around for my upcoming Mother's Day Make and Take. Let the ideas flow!
