Awards night!

Last night I attended the Awards night ceremony that Stampin Up! holds for the top sellers, recruiters and creates over the course of the year. The ceremony is open to anyone who attended convention. It was so inspiring to see all of the men and women who have given their time, energy and creativity to make SU such a great company. There was also an after party where the theme was the Roaring 20's. Needless to say there were too many flapper dresses to count!

Day Two, here we go!

Day One!

Phew! That was a long day! I'm so excited and so glad I came to convention! Just in the first day I have felt more encouragement and motivation to grow my hobby into a thriving business that I can be proud of! Below are some pictures of the Gathering Place where we ate, shared and even got to get our hands dirty and stamp!

Convention swaps!

I totally forgot to post pictures of the swaps I made for convention! More detailed pictures and instructions to come!

Just about time!

It's almost time to start the convention! I'm so excited!

Stampin Up! Offices

How cool is this! We are able to go on a tour of the home base offices for SU! It is so cool to see where all the phone calls are answered and where all the product gets sorted and shipped, what a cool experience!

Salt Palace Baby!

Now that I'm in SLC I had the pleasure of heading over to the Salt Palace to take a tour of the Stampin Up! Offices!!! So cool! But I of course explored the venue while I waited for the bus!

UTAH! and the drive there...

Well, I made it! After over 13 hours of driving and three states I am in Salt Lake City! I really loved the drive. I had time to think and sing, loudly, to myself. It was an absolutely beautiful drive. The farthest east I had even driven was Bend, OR and if course I had to drive right through! I am so excited to be here!!! Included are pictures of the drive!

Market Fresh Thank You Card

This was a lot of fun to make.  Modeling after my single layer swap card,  this card follows the same theme.  Very simple,  but a ton to put together!

Simplicity

This card is for a swap at the upcoming SU Convention in Salt Lake City Utah. The swap tells us to create a single layer card, with a little embellishment. Here is my take! Using the Market Fresh stamp set I watercolored the I age using my aqua pen. I used Marina Mist for the banner and Wild Wasabi for the lettuce. Enjoy!

Wedding Bliss

I needed to create a simple but fun wedding card for an upcoming wedding I am going to. I loved using the Circle of Spring stamp set as well as the Wonderous Wreath Framelits to make this card really pop!

RAWR!

Here they are in all their glory! Dinosaurs are back with this new adorable "No Bones About It" stamp set. I created this card for a swap I will be bringing to the 2015 Stampin Up! Convention later on in the month. I absolutely loved making this card! The basic design for the card is from  Sue Wdowik, an Independent Stampin Up! demonstrator from Australia. You can check out her blog, Nigh Nigh Birdie for more inspiration! Happy Stamping!!

Goodies!

I was so excited when I got home because I knew a beautiful package full of goodies from the new catalog was waiting for me!
